You old yum friend, synaptic (the GUI), works even better in the Debian
world!

user# su
# apt-get install synaptic apt-xapian-index
# exit
user#
...which should show up as "Synaptic Package Manager" in your system
menu. If you used it before, you'll be right at home. Then enter selinux
in the search bar for a list of packages to consider for installation.
Also click on "reload" to also click on "update" and you can get the
selected files you marked PLUS the remaining updates you will wish to
install.
If you are used to using sudo, you'll have to google on that to enable
sudo.
