starting mgetty
Traditionally, mgetty was started with a line such as this in /etc/inittab.
T0:23:respawn:/sbin/mgetty ttyS1
Not working in wheezy and this seems relevant.

Also
root@dalton:~# dpkg -l | grep systemd
ii libsystemd-login0:i386 44-11+deb7u4 i386 systemd login utility library
But
root@dalton:~# ls /bin/systemd
ls: cannot access /bin/systemd: No such file or directory
The mgetty documents don't help. How should mgetty be started
automatically these days?
Thanks, ... Peter E.
