But it appears, that i.e. k3b is using and looking for temporary space in /tmp, when burning DVDs. Most people (i guess) will not have 8GB of RAM free (for double-layer DVDs), so that it can be used by k3b. In that case, editing /etc/fstab and do it the old way is coming in handy. However, thiose, who have enough RAM do not need to edit /tmp... Hans
