Bonjour,

I get this alert message (concerning lightdm) from chkrootkit

! RUID PID TTY CMD
! root 3153 tty7 /usr/bin/X :0 -seat seat0 -auth
/var/run/lightdm/root/:0 -nolisten tcp vt7 -novtswitch

What does it mean?

it means that the first X server is running on terminal number 7

with gdm3 I have:
/usr/bin/Xorg :0 -background none -noreset -verbose 3 -logfile /dev/null -auth /var/run/gdm3/auth-for-Debian-gdm-qoNZRi/database -seat seat0 -nolisten tcp vt7

so no worry.

floris
