Debian 5
I ran into a situation whereby a server was not well maintained and contains some critical scientific information for someone I know. It has not been properly maintained since the system was put together using very talented computer people at the time, but have since moved on to other things. It is running Debian 5 and has not been upgraded since that time. We checked the archives, however they seem to be closed at this time. Would you say this person is “screwed” in that they cannot upgrade to the latest version? If it can be saved, what would be a suggestion? Thank you.
