Re: Can't login to Xfce after reboot in Debian 7.5

Got the solution. Here it is:

"1) Move the infinality script out of the system profile:

sudo mv /etc/profile.d/infinality-settings.sh /etc/infinality-settings.sh et

2) Change permission to exectute by everyone:

sudo chmod a+rx /etc/infinality-settings.sh

3) Using your favourite text editor add following lines at the end of your .bashrc file in home directory:

# INFINALITY FONT RENDERING CONFIG
          . /etc/infinality-settings.sh  "

Now I don't get it why I should move the script, change the permission or edit the config file. GNOME worked well with Infinality. I didn't have to do any of these. Would anyone care to elaborate these steps for me? Thanks.
Also, is there any better alternative to Infinality for Debian. I want better font rendering. The default font rendering is bad. Also changing the anti-aliasing and other doesn't make a big difference.
