Thinking that the Operating System is the kernel, is like thinking the
Earth is hollow and run by shape-shifting lizard-like aliens - it's an
unfortunate belief that can't be cured with skin cream or saunas. And
like the Specific Ocean and fairies at the bottom of the garden, the
only thing influenced by the number of believers is, um, fringe magazine
sales?
