We will see what will happen within the future. Talk to upstream and
perhaps you'll change your opinion. Since you're a LXDE user, you might
be aware that they switch to Qt, perhaps you should talk with LXDE
upstream about my opinion. Or ask GNOME app developers, e.g. Evolution
developers about the issues they've got with GTK. It's politic not to
make a clear statement, but you might be able to read between the lines
of statements.
