Depending on the amount of packages you need you are probably better of 
running pure unstable.

APT pinning is a very powerful tool. Just because you don't know how to 
use it doesn't mean it's useless.

There is a lot of information you are not providing to us. You could 
start by providing us the output of 'apt-cache policy' and
'apt-cache policy libglade2-dev'.
