Re: sluggish iceweasel

I have seen my iceweasel on my workstation continually grab up more and more memory and/or CPU.

I suspect it is either a or more like a combination of ad-ons that are causing a memory leak. I have reduced it to the minimum I need to feel comfortable (adblock plus, request policy, tab mix plus, etc.), and I generally run a st00pid amount of tabs...

Of course, I have a fairly beefy machine, so I can go for some period without having to restart.

Not continuously, but repeatedly.  Closing it and restarting it
usually helps.  For a while.

I too have deserted to other browsers, but not for long.  Iceweasel is
the only browser which I know how to view with no style, and I need
no style to be able to read many modern sites.  So I just groan and
restart it.
