I believe that your test case is faulty, as "rm" doesn't actually do
what you think it does...

then please advice how can i simulate disk failure. do you think i should move towords physical hardware rather then files? i can do that and thats why i am planning and learning ZFS however before moving to words real stuff i would like to practice things virtually. any advice would be highly appreciated.
