This is from the middle of the file as it shows both .mp3 and .m4a -

Got it in one! But how do I get it to show the file path please? I've
googled for it, read that xmms can create the foobar.m3u that I'm
after. But wont know if xmms2 can do the same until tomorrow morning. 

Any help gratefully accepted :)
