So, the mysql server isn't installed, or isn't installed correctly. That could be why it doesn't start ;-)

It looks like something is wrong with your apt sources.list file(s). You shouldn't get mismatched dependencies like that.

Could you show us your /etc/apt/sources.list and the contents of any files under /etc/apt/sources.list.d?

Also the output of apt-get update
