I tried that code in my computer and it said 8GB maximum, *which is what I have in it* not what it will take. (It will take 16GB.) I expect the Toshiba link is correct. But the Toshiba site that provided the information ought to say what specific kind of ram to buy and plug in, one would expect. --doug
