Not that I know of. Besides, I can access the following URLs from the browser without any problems:
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/wheezy/main/
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/wheezy/non-free/
It's beginning to look like an aptitude problem to me.
