Nothing untoward here. This is the expected output of ifconfig if there
is a network cable to each NIC. You now have two active interfaces. Is
that what you want?

I for one am getting lost. You don't appear to have any problem
connecting to the network, although there may some minor details which
require clarification. Please would would specify precisely what it is
you require help with.

Having both NetworkManager and ifupdown managing interfaces is not my
idea of an ideal setup.
