Re: How to install Truecrypt on Debian squeeze?



The program is the same, but there are fundamental differences between the distros. Its is the same program on Ubuntu and RedHat, but the distros are even more different than Ubuntu and Debian, so the installation methodology is different too. Or even moreso between TrueCrypt on Linux and on FreeBSD...

I can never understand the compulsion among Ubuntu users to use Debian, and
then complain that it is not the same as Ubuntu.  There is a distro just like
Ubuntu, and that is Ubuntu.  Debian is differrent, that is why some of us
like it.
