Hi,

I don't know how to find one file out,

one file contains some numbers, like

7.9 2.4 4.2 12.2 and etc

I can't remember the file name. I tried:

$ grep -e "7.9" -e "2.4" -e "4.2" -e "12.2" */*

$ grep -e "7.9" -e "2.4" -e "4.2" -e "12.2" */*/*

   I think .. is about files content, not file name.

Maybe this one? :

find . -type f -name "*7.9*" -exec grep -H . {} \;

Thanks all,

find . -type f -name "*.txt" -exec  grep -H "7.9" \{\} \

works well.

Best regards,
