Thanks for all the elp! I am trying some of the suggestions now. Of
cpourse, changing date with    sudo date
is now problem, as I do not switch timezones that often! On the other
hand, switching keyboard layout I do Very often,
surely tens of times a day, so doing it via the menu is very needed
