What exactly are you trying to accomplish?  Do you wish to
install a Debian stock binary kernel image package?  In that case,
Hans' post should answer your question.  Or are you trying to build
a custom kernel from source?  In that case, why do you believe that
you need to build a custom kernel?  What is the ultimate objective?
