blueman is no more usable

Dear list,

Is anyone of you using blueman with debian wheezy ? Mine is not functional anymore.
I'm using icewm with a .xinitrc having

` ` `
exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch --sh-syntax --exit-with-session icewm-session
` ` `

I can ( as root ) search as well as add bluetooth devices. But when try to pair I receive the following
error

` ` ` `
err (/usr/bin/blueman-manager:247)
(DBusException(dbus.String(u'Input/output error'),),)
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/blueman/gui/MessageArea.py:169: Warning: g_object_set_qdata: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
  self.show()
` ` ` `

and when try to remove the added device, I get following error

` ` ` `
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/blueman/gui/manager/ManagerToolbar.py", line 78, in on_action
    func(device)
File "/usr/bin/blueman-manager", line 282, in remove
    self.List.Adapter.RemoveDevice(device.Device)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/blueman/bluez/utils.py", line 28, in warp
    raise errors.parse_dbus_error(exception)
blueman.bluez.errors.DBusDoesNotExistError: Device creation in progress
` ` ` `

The packages installed are

` ` `
blueman 1.21-4.1+b1 A Graphical bluetooth manager
python 2.7.2-9 interactive high-level object-oriented language (default version)
bluez 4.96-3 Bluetooth tools and daemons
