I've repacked linux-image-3.0.0-2-generic, wireless-crda and udev and have now discovered that I cannot install the udev package because it breaks package linux-base. So I cannot install the later kernel. It looks as though I shall have to forget using wifi on Debian squeeze. Has anybody got any ideas?
