I'm sorry Carl, but I'm not following you at all.  I can be terribly
dense at times.

Can show a simple usage and output of what you are talking about.

Is it related to finding version information?

Your subject in this e-mail sounds as if you want to find the version information ...
or did you mean something completely different ?
