I saw no bug for Debian.

The driver seems to be available for sid so I guess soon will reach 
testing.

Then go ahead and try to "fool" the installer: if it compiles and works, 
fine; if it fails, you have nothing lose as you can always return back 
to nouveau ;-)

Is not a fix "per se" but an adaptation to the new kernel.
