The folders has the same permissions too:
 # ls -d cspl*
csplbubba  csplmoodle  csplwordpress
root@b2:/var/log/apache2# ls -ld cspl*
drwxr-x--- 2 root adm 4096 Oct  6 15:43 csplbubba
drwxr-x--- 2 root adm 4096 Oct  6 15:43 csplmoodle
drwxr-x--- 2 root adm 4096 Oct  6 15:43 csplwordpress
