The quote was for illustration purposes only.

To give you an example in the FOSS world of desire monopoly, consider
the fact the the developer of systemd has said that he expects Ubuntu
to switch to systemd in two years. He might be right but if that's not
a desire for monopoly, nothing is.

I don't hate MS - and I work with about 60 other nix sysadmins, none
of whom AFAIK hates MS.
