I had the same problem with Wheezy.  I am a Squeeze user but I needed a
few items from Wheezy.  I pinned Squeeze at 900 and Wheezy at 800 yet an
upgrade moved half my system to Wheezy.  The result was unusable and I
had to rebuild - John
