Perhaps a ncurses (non-graphical) install would be a better option for such a low-specced machine?

The OP mentioned "witout grapphical environment"; I take he means he doesn't want/need a graphical desktop.
The installation should take care of itself and boot you into a GUI login. If it doesn't, then your graphics card may be at fault, or it could be a failure in the installation process.Best to post the error messages so that the knowledgeable folk here can help you more effectively.Good luck. AG
