You could have also fixed the problem simply by lowering your
smtpd_tls_loglevel to a value less than 3, as Wietse told you in the
same email he mentioned 2.8.1 RC1 as a fix when running with 3 or higher.
Out of curiosity, if you don't _need_ postscreen or dnswl support, why
are you running 2.8 from source instead of the Debian 2.7.1 package?
The only major/minor differences between 2.7 and 2.8 are postscreen and
dnswl query support. While postscreen is an interesting feature, it's
only really beneficial for MX hosts will very high connection volumes.
