Hello,

Trying to install Oracle 9.2.0.4 (64 bits) on Debian x85_64 , to avoid some install problems is necesary to set
the variable LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19

However when I set this variable on my bash shell, any command fails with :

error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open  shared object file: No such file or directory.

My Debian version is:
Linux version 2.6.26-2-686 (Debian 2.6.26-26lenny1) (dannf@debian.org) (gcc version 4.1.3 20080704 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.2-25)) #1 SMP Thu Nov 25 01:53:57 UTC 2010

Do you know how fix this problem?

Many thanks
Arturo
