Tablet input GONE after wacom upgrade

Greetings-

After this morning's apt-get dist-upgrade, my tablet laptop's wacom tablet
is completely non-functional. Nothing else has changed to make this
happen, so I'm wondering if others have had a problem with the new
xserver-xorg-input-wacom package or similar.

System is a lenovo X61 tablet, debian squeeze/sid, kernel
2.6.32-trunk-amd64 (but same thing is happening with 2.6.30 kernels).
xserver-xorg-input-wacom is 0.10.3+20100109-1.  xinput list and less
/proc/bus/input/devices both report no tablet input.

I'll file a bug unless I get a better idea :)
