That's all true. Is there a technique where this can be done
automatically? Say, there is a man that knows how to operate w/ the
hardware stuff but has little experience w/ linux, it could be
wonderful for him (and others) that he could just his this job while
the technique will do the rest.
I can write a script that will be checking for ethN where N>1 and to
auto edit the udev net-persistent file, then rerun network service, but
may there is a ready tool, also, may it takes care of which one of the
NICs should be eth1 or 0 - for the diver nets (so that iptables will
be happy).
