No.  Flash player is distributed free-of-cost by Adobe.  What costs is the
Flash developer tools, not the player.


But can a "purist" accept such support and be a true linux user?

"Linux" is not synonymous with "free".  "Debian" is not synonymous with
"Stallman".  Please keep these facts in mind.
