debmirror broken

Sometime in the last week the "debmirror" script broke for me.  It used to work fine, now I get:

------------------------
Mirroring to /home/ss/Download/DebianMirror/etch from http://debian.lcs.mit.edu/debian/
Arches: i386,amd64
Dists: testing
Sections: main,contrib,non-free
Pdiff mode: none
Will clean up AFTER mirroring.
Attempting to get lock, this might take 2 minutes before it fails.
Get Release files.

Is this me, or is the package really broken now?
