Hi; Wondering if anyone knows of a GUI for managing a digital camera for
downloading pictures, etc ?

There doesn't seem to be any such beast in testing, preferrably one that
works with Gnome as opposed to KDE. Thanks.

hello

you can check the following

   - f-spot
   - gthumb
   - picasa from google (not in debian package system)

I do not run KDE or Gnome and I find that gtkam works well for me. I used it with a low end Nikon before that camera got dropped and am now using it with a Kodak camera. I haven't really tried many other apps because I didn't want to bring in all of those KDE libs, either.
