Is there any limitation or requirement using bond mode 6?

Hi,
  I have used mode 6 bonding for a long time, for 2 or 4 ethernet
cards. Today, I just heard someone said that, there are some
requirements for the ethernet card when using bond 6. So I just
wondering, what is it?
