pvcreate & sata terribly slow on sid?
Hello,
I'm running latest sid with 2.6.30 kernel and pvcreating a new disk into
use, but that seems to take forever and doesn't create heavy IO on the
disk. Creating normal ext3 partitions with bad block scan succeeded and
created led blinking IO as I expected.

Is pvcreate supposed to be really slow on a 1500 gigabyte disk partition?
Is there something wrong with the sata drivers or the disk, or lvm2 from
sid?
