dnsdomainname: Unknown host

Hell to all,

I have a simple problem: a newly installed Lenny system does not has a
DNS domainname:

xenhost01:/etc# dnsdomainname
dnsdomainname: Unknown host

xenhost01:~# hostname
xenhost01

My /etc/hosts:

### Hetzner Online AG installimage
# nameserver config
# IPv4
10.10.10.10 xenhosts01.domain.com xenhosts01
127.0.0.1 localhost
#
# IPv6
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
ff02::3 ip6-allhosts

I even tried to set the name with sysconfig:

kernel.domainname = sound-service.eu

but this has no effect, too.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thx in advance,

Michael
