I know it's probably a bit more than you want to send, but I use
FSCKVPS, who offer great service. They did have about half a day of
downtime a couple of weeks ago, as they are owned by VaServ, which a
hacker hacked into and rm -rf /ed (there was a story about it on
Slashdot, as the developer of the software with the security bug in
hanged himself).

They offer plans in Atlanta, Texas, LA and the UK. Cheapest plan is
$9.95/month for 512M memory and 30G disk. No setup fee.

Also, if you're an open source developer you can get 10 to 20 % off (I
just got a 10% discount, as I package .deb's for a couple of Sourceforge
projects).

I'd add them to the wiki link Tzafrir provided, but CheapVPS.co.uk are
there, who are also owned by VaServ. Should I group all of them together
under the parent company, VaServ (there's 4 companies under them).
