no, that file is automatically created, if not, a reboot should do it.

True. It was testing.

Now I did reinstall them both:

. kqemu I have installed the latest from stable repo on Internet

. qemu - from my stable 5.01 dvd.

Still I have the same message. - When I do manually:

/bin/mknod /dev/kqemu c 250 0

/bin/chown root.kvm /dev/kqemu

/bin/chmod 664 /dev/kqemu

Until that I have this:

Could not open '/dev/kqemu' - QEMU acceleration layer not activated: No such
file or directory

Do You create the dev. manually?
