Hi, At the risk of telling the obvious, Debian releases with 2.4 kernel (Sarge?) aren't supported anymore. Connecting such machine to the internet is, well... insecure. Debian Lenny has two 'light' desktop (XFCE and LXDE) that should be suitable for older machine. Regards, Franklin
