hi daryl,...well: i tested the file /home/steef/pinkfloyd.img (442MB) extensively with a couple of converters/testers like dd, iat, poweriso and the like last week. some of them (like dd of course) transformed without any problem the .img-file into an .iso file ( $dd if=/home/steeg/pf.img of=home/steef/pf.iso bs=4096. i burned the iso-file on a rewritable dvd but could not play the music: mplayer, vcl, kaffeine, gxine all refused to do that: they told me the file was corrupt. most detailed IMHO is iat:
