In the bug report I filled
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=528366), I show the
code snippet which almost purposefully omits the obvious option of
passing the keyfile to cryptsetup. I hope that the maintainer/developer
will treat it as a bug and not as some 'missing feature'. I'm sure that
someone more experienced would be able to produce a patch in a matter of
minutes...
