What is AVG 7.5? Is it the windows application? If yes, why would you
want to run it on debian?

clamav is a free anti-virus program available in debian.

NB: It is *really not a good idea* to escalate root privileges to
ordinary users. I guess the negative impact on security will greatly
outweigh any security benefit you might gain by using such an ill
designed product. YMMV.
