Hm, maybe that's possible. Enlightenment is already installed, I'll
have to try. KDE has become pretty nice since the last time I tried
it.

Well, what I need is 4x4 virtual desktops and being able to just move
the mouse pointer across the borders to switch to another desktop, and
a few keyboard shortcuts. The shortcuts in KDE don't work, and it
cannot be configured to switch desktops like that. That is what
breakes it. It's really weird that most window managers don't provide
these simple basic features Enlightenment has since many years.
