Let me correct myself here: I was wrong about the URL; I now tried a few
debian-multimedia mirrors and I realized that anything beyond the server
name gets truncated in the output. What you posted looks OK, but I still
would expect to see "10.0.12.36-0.2" in place of "1:10.0.12.36-0.2". Did
you run "aptitude update" recently?

I did.

Is your problem solved now, or does the broken flashplayer-mozilla
package on your system block all other installation options?

I had to remove it first else error message will come up whenever I try to install anything but it doesn't hinder the installation process.
