This is bound to happen because:
bob@trantor:~$ host satimis.com
satimis.com has address 220.232.213.178
satimis.com mail is handled by 10 mail.satimis.com.
bob@trantor:~$ host mail.satimis.com
Host mail.satimis.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
You need an IP address for mail.satimis.com as well as for satimis.com,
don't you?
I think I am doing something similar to you for my domain rcox.org:
bob@trantor:~$ host rcox.org
rcox.org has address 82.71.52.122
rcox.org mail is handled by 10 mailgate.bobcox.net.
bob@trantor:~$ host mailgate.bobcox.net
mailgate.bobcox.net has address 82.71.52.122
