Because of the memory leak(s) I moved to openbox from xfce about a year ago. The memory leak(s) are in the xfdesktop4 package. According to the BTS, those bugs have not been fixed. I'm sorry to see a good lightweight desktop manager go the way of the big ones because of this and am surprised the memory leak(s) still haven't been fixed!
