I downloaded debian-40r3-i386-netinst.iso from http://www.debian.org/distrib/. and copied it to a CD. It appears to be about the right size (163,392KB), but it fails to boot on any of the follwoing computers: Gateway Solo 1100 laptop Dell Dimension 4100 Dell Inspiron 8500 (I set the boot order to boot the CD drive first. However, the CD is bypassed in every case.
