sound on ibm netvista
I bought a used IBM Netvista machine and alsaconf cannot find the
on board sound card. I really need a lot of help.
I am running lenny on this machine and have not been able to find
where the problem really lies - searching the internet have left me
with pretty much nothing other than it is either a missing driver or
debian and the motherboard do not speaking the same language.
i am really a retired newby although I have used linux for more than
10 years. Please be kind.
John Song.
